I am interested in creating art that is experiential, interactive and constantly changing. My work has a strong investigative bent, and resolving technically difficult problems in sculpture making has been a hallmark of my career. I primarily use wood as a medium as I like wood’s authentic and primary relationship to manual labor. I use processes that would be familiar to craftspeople from 100 years ago.
